This place is super. I went a couple of weeks ago during a weekend in NY, and it was tots impressive.
Like, this place is really small and cute, and their food was four stars. I bump the total rating up to five because we had a super cute waitress who sat down and chatted with us about dessert even though she'd been working since 8am (we arrive at 10:30ish). Seriously, she was so cute my entire table developed a crush on her, so that when she forgot to bring out one of our credit cards, we were convinced we had somehow made it disappear after she set it down, and we proceeded to overturn tables and search the ground for like 10 minutes before someone finally realized she had forgot it inside. I know this might normally be something you'd complain about, but we really had a great time searching for the credit card. Maybe it was the bottle of wine he consumed, or maybe we're just wonderful people and this was a wonderful place.
P.S. The kitchen is super small, so its amazing they can do what they do.
P.P.S. If you think I'm just some stupid San Franciscan easily impressed by anyone who can cook something 1/2 decent, read some of my other reviews, I can be irrationally brutal too. |
